Olsen Twins: look like twins again!

They are back to the little blonde bombshells they were a few years ago, when guys cheered when they turned 18. (LAME!--some of my friends actually couldn't wait) Anyway, today the MK and A were spotted at "the Toronto set of MuchOnDemand, the Canuck version of Total Request Live. " (Style.com)

They looked fantastic! "Both girls sported heavy black liner, but MK favored a matte red lip while Ashley went with a creamy nude pout. A small difference, yes, but one that definitely made it easier to tell them apart now that they’ve both gone back to blonde. Which look do you prefer?"

I have to say I love love love the fact they are both blonde again. I've always been fascinated by them since their Full House days and since we are the same age.

What do you think? Love or hate the Olsen twins?

*sigh* Its August, but I'm ready for boots!

The title says it all. I am ready to wear boots and dresses, jeans, tights, leggings, and more. I popped into payless earlier this week to see if Christian Siriano’s new line was in yet (the clerk didn’t even know about them) but they weren’t. I did however get wrapped up at looking at their boots. They had brown, black, grey and even turquoise, which I was captivated by!

This got me started on daydreaming about boots. Last year, I got a killer pair of black high heeled boots, a slouchy gray suede pair, and some black ankle boots. The only ones I’m still completely enamored by are the black high-heeled! I’m loving the idea of motorcycle boots, flat black boots, and a hotter pair of ankle boots! Anyway, here are a few pairs I’m digging!

What about you? What kind of boots are you looking forward to wearing?

Doing the Dye!

Last night I attended a going away dinner for a friend, and for some reason the conversation turned to eyelashes. The girl across from me was a natural blonde and mentioned that her eyelashes are so light that she hates spending 15 min putting on mascara.

Then she said something that made my jaw drop.

She gets her eyelashes dyed. DYED! Maybe I've been living in a dark hole, but I've never heard of it. She said its not that expensive, and that it lasts about 6 weeks.

I have to say I'm definetly intrigued! I hate putting on mascara every day cause I tend to pick it off, leading to no eyelashes which is NO BUENO!

I'm thinking of trying it.

Have you ever heard of dying your eyelashes? Do you dye your eyelashes? What is it like? What do you think?

Hair Dilemma!

I'm in a pickle! I got the most adorabe, expensive haircut back in May. I cut off about 5 inches to get a cute "lob--long bob" with bangs. I have terribly missed my long hair but did love my fabulous new haircut. Well fast forward 3 months later, my hair has grown out to a length I'm super happy with, just about in between long and where it

was. But I'm starting to get split ends and worried that its gonna that as it keeps growning its gonna loose its "lob" shape. So I'm gonna get a trim.

Dilemma: My last hair appointment was expensive, it included some coloring too. I don't have that kind of money now and would really prefer to just go to a Mastercuts type place for a quick trim with little cost.

But, I'm afraid that they'll mess up my shape!! So what do I do?

A) Fork over the over $40 for the TRIM that I know will turn out right, but will make my wallet sad?

B) Go to a quick place where I can get out for under $20 and hope the cut goes well?

What would you do?

Comfy is the way, today.

Today, I appeal to your comfy senses, instead of your fashionista senses. We all have are beautiful dresses, edgy tops, rocker heels and so on…but we also have our comfy clothes. Why? Because you’re not going to wear your 5 inch stilettos and liquid leggings to clean in right! Anyway, everyone has a few t-shirts and bottoms (shorts, sweatpants, yoga pants etc) that you lounge, do chores, or workout in. My absolute favorite and most versatile “do-all” piece is a pair of black Soffe shorts! Here are a couple reasons I love my pair:

They are perfect for a workout. The breathable and stretchy material allows me to move, bend and sweat with out feeling constricted like I would by elastic waistbands and itchy poly-blend materials.

Waking up at the crack of dawn to take my puppy outside, I prefer to look like I didn’t just roll out of bed. So the penguin covered pants or pink camo boxers just won’t work. (With the Soffe shorts it looks like I could have been working out?!)

If someone pops over for a visit unexpectedly, I won’t feel as if I look like a slob. A t-shirt and the Soffe shorts is better than the aforementioned penguin pants.

Also, If I have to run to the local drug or grocery store for 1 item, Soffe shorts are a better choice than any pj bottoms or sweatpants(which I’ve seen many people wear many places. I personally think it looks tacky)

Most of all, I can clean, cook, and lounge and feel completely comfortable, not worrying if I get them really dirty.

The other fantastic thing: $7.99. Who can beat that price?!?!

Soffe shorts are definitely my go-to comfortable clothing.

What about you? Do you wear Soffe shorts? What’s your go-to comfy do all item?
